My dream of having a farm store has become a reality. Our garage has been modified and is now my "studio" where we will have alpaca product for sale. We will have raw fiber, roving, yarn, socks, hats, gloves, scarves, and other alpaca products. If we don't have it we will try our best to get it for you. We hope this venture will take us in a new direction in providing product people are interested in and we hope through product sales we will be able to offer a better variety of items. The store will be open Tues, Wed, Thurs, and Mon Dec 18, 19, 20, and 24 from 12 noon to 3 pm or by appointment. You can call 417-548-0099(home) or 417-310-0566(cell) to make an appointment to visit and see what we have available. We look forward to talking alpaca with you.
We had a great time at the Alpaca in the Ozarks Halter Show in November in Fayetteville, Arkansas. My sister Phoebe from Texas came to the show with us. It was surprising how well she handled the alpacas as she has not been around them very much. April received 2nd in her class. May and June competed against each other and June took 2nd with May taking 3rd. They were all very well behaved and friendly to all who walked past their stall. They have retired from competing as they will be bred this spring and become first time mothers in spring 2014 we hope.
Come back soon to read about more adventures in alpaca land.
